The intention of the special event license plate is to provide our supporters with a unique and prominent platform to promote and preserve the Foundation’s mission. 

Participation in this program is available to sworn members, their families, retirees, survivors and supporters of our public safety community. Participants are charged with protecting the reputation of the Foundation and the integrity of our mission to Never Forget.    

Any participant that brings discredit to the Foundation through exploitation of the special event license plate will result in a permanent ban from the program.  This includes the failure to remove the license plates by the September 19, 2008 expiration date.  Verified violations will be documented and formal notice will be given to the owner of record.  The Illinois Secretary of State regulates this program and we must abide by the rules.
