The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation chartered a bus and traveled with 25 uniformed Chicago police officers to the Illinois State Capitol Building in Springfield to protest the release of inmates Bruce Sharp and Ronnie Carasquillo, the killers of Chicago Police Officers  Kenneth Kaner (1970) and Terrence Loftus (1976).

The inmates’ requests for parole were DENIED by votes of 12-1 and 10-3 respectively. Each inmate also received a 3-year set, meaning they will not be eligible for parole until 2019.

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation will #NEVERFORGET Officers Kenneth Kaner and Terry Loftus and the ultimate sacrifice they made in service to the citizens of the City of Chicago.

We Will Never Forget
