This year, Race to Back the Blue will meet at Homan Square-SWAT headquarters and then rally to Byron Dragway for afternoon filled with fast cars! This exciting event will raise funds for the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation and the CPD SWAT Team so they can do their jobs safely and effectively! Help us Protect Those Who Protect Us!

Every day the men and women of the SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) Team of the Chicago Police Department risk their personal safety in an effort to keep the citizens of the City of Chicago safe. They are called upon to respond for the service of high-risk search and arrest warrants, incidents involving barricaded suspects, hostage rescues or active shooters and other situations requiring resources and training beyond the capacity of the patrol division.
